Dr. Kaitlin Mallouk and Dr. Cassandra Jamison both have active projects in this area including:
Assessing the impact of leadership training on the self-efficacy of low-income undergraduate students (SSTEM).
Exploring the relationship between students’ social connectedness and their engineering self-efficacy.
Exploring what students consider when choosing engineering at a specific institution and how those choices impact their experience of engineering culture

Dr. Cassandra Jamison has projects focused on STEM Workforce Development including:
Exploring how students make decisions about which capstone projects to participate in.
Exploring how perceptions of the value of co-curricular participation differ amongst engineering education stakeholders (faculty, staff, admin, students, employers).

Dr. Kaitlin Mallouk and Dr. Jill Perry have the following projects focused on Teaching and Learning:
Exploring the effect of social integration on instructor’s likelihood of implementing new teaching practices.
Exploring the ways in which the Faculty Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning's programs, workshops, resources, and support services impact teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes, particularly considering the diverse needs of faculty and students.
Exploring the impact of the Faculty Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning's supports, resources, and services for scholarly and creative activities are enhancing faculty research, scholarship quality, and creative achievements.
